Once again: anti-trans legislation is designed to suppress/harm/kill trans people, but it’s also going to suppress/harm/kill cis people. And no “hahah, they’ll fix that” is not the appropriate or realistic response in light of our political climate or healthcare system.
Florida HB1421 is defined so broadly, it would ban health insurance coverage for birth control, HRT for menopause, treatments for breast cancer, including mastectomies, treatments for prostate cancer, and any treatment that involves primary or secondary sex characteristics.
