I’m bloody angry that #thrombectomy isn’t widely available in the UK. A member of my #stroke group had the procedure years ago and it saved him. It’s cost effective because stroke costs our country a fortune in lost earnings, benefits and rehab. takeaction.stroke.org.uk/pag…

With all the great brains we have in the UK, maybe we should have a task force of experts, patients as well as politicians to tackle the #nhs - raise morale, address A&E issues, mental health and social care, it’s not just about the money.

Hubby was allocated 16 SALT sessions, a couple more for training purposes, then he said no as too frustrated, the SALT team were stretched too thin, they would ask him how he was, no mental health care offered. I talk to him support him, I had a mental health assessment last yr

Today we changed the law to allow businesses impacted by strike action to hire skilled, temporary workers to mitigate disruption.
This was a criminal offence. Now it’s an option for business.
We will not let trade unions grind our economy to a halt.

I keep saying this when people say I’m “passionate” about climate change. Bollocks. It’s not a woke lefty cause. It’s not a hippy snowflake utopian communist ideal. It’s not a libtard bandwagon. It’s literally about life or death for the entire human race.
